Families are looking for someone who works on the one thing their athlete needs. Coaches are looking for athletes within driving distance. Coach-Grid is the place where those two searches meet — and it costs neither side anything.
If you coach
- Nothing to pay, and no cut. No listing fee, no subscription, no commission on what you charge. You agree the price with the family and keep it in full — we never touch the money.
- You are found by what you actually do. Parents filter by sport, position and type of training. „Quarterback footwork" and „speed and agility" are separate things here, not two lines in the same paragraph.
- Your own page that ranks. A real address, real text, structured data for search engines. It works whether or not anyone ever visits our homepage.
- Requests reach you, not a middleman. A parent writes, you answer, you exchange numbers. We are not in the conversation after that.
- Camps and group sessions too. Post a date, link to your own signup page. We do not take registrations, so whatever system you already use keeps working.

If you are an athlete or parent
- Browse without an account. Every profile, every price, every camp date is readable without signing up. An account only becomes necessary to write to someone or to keep a shortlist.
- Compare before you call. What each coach works on, where they train, what they charge where they publish it, and how quickly they usually reply.
- A recruiting profile that you control. Measurables, performance numbers, academics, film — section by section you decide what is public, what only signed-in coaches see, and what nobody sees.
- Contact runs one way. Messages reach the parent account, never the athlete directly. Contact details of athletes under 16 are never public, whatever the setting says.

How we handle young athletes
Most of what makes this platform different is here, so it is spelled out rather than summarized.
A profile for a minor belongs to a parent or guardian account. The athlete does not hold the login, and consent is recorded with the account.
Profiles of athletes under 16 are not offered to search engines. They stay shareable by link — an athlete may send their own profile to a coach — but a search for a child's name will not surface them.
Measurables, performance, academics, season stats, honors, gallery, film, links and contact each have their own setting: everyone, signed-in coaches only, or nobody.
Email and phone of athletes under 16 are shown to signed-in coaches only, whatever the setting says. This is enforced on the server, not hidden in the page.
Nobody can contact a family anonymously. The person writing is identifiable, and every message goes to the parent account.
No account needed to report. Anything flagged as a risk to a young athlete goes to the top of the queue.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes, on both sides and for good. Browsing and messaging cost families nothing, listing costs coaches nothing, and there is no commission on what you charge. If that ever changes for new features, what is free today stays free.
How do you make money then?
Right now we do not. The platform is small, it is cheap to run, and growth matters more than revenue at this stage. If we add paid features later they will be additions — better placement, tools for larger organizations — not a paywall around what already works.
Do I need an account to look?
No. Every coach profile, every camp and every published athlete profile is readable without signing up. An account is needed to write to a coach, to save a shortlist, or to publish something yourself.
Which states are covered?
All 50, from day one. There is no waiting list and no invitation code. How many coaches you find depends on where you are — the directory is new, and it fills up city by city.
I am under 18. Can I sign up myself?
You need to be at least 13 for an account. If you are under 16, your parent or guardian creates the profile from their account and stays in control of it.
