Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses Coach-Grid, whether or not you have an account. By creating an account you accept them.

What Coach-Grid is — and is not

Coach-Grid is a directory. We publish what coaches, organizers and families tell us about themselves and let people find each other. That is the whole service.

We are not a party to what you agree with a coach. Training, prices, cancellations, refunds, supervision and insurance are between you and them. We take no payment for training, we do not hold funds, and we do not register anyone for an event — an event listing links to the organizer's own page, and everything from there on is theirs.

A listing is not a recommendation. We do not employ, supervise or endorse the coaches listed here. Unless a profile explicitly says otherwise, we have not run a background check. Deciding whether someone is the right person to train your child is your decision, and we would encourage you to ask for references, meet in person, and check the certifications a coach claims.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 to hold an account, and at least 18 to publish a coach profile, publish an event, or manage an athlete profile for someone else.
• The details you give must be true, and you must keep them current.
• You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
• One person, one account. Do not share or transfer it.

Youth athlete profiles

A profile for anyone under 16 must be created and managed by their parent or legal guardian, from that adult's account. By creating one you confirm that you hold that authority.

• You decide, section by section, what is published. Contact details for minors are never public, whatever you set.
• Publish only photographs you have the right to publish and in which any other identifiable person has agreed to appear.
• You may delete the profile at any time, and we will act on it without asking why.

If you are an adult contacting a family through this site, you are contacting the account holder, not the athlete. Attempting to reach a minor around that route ends your account.

What you publish

You keep ownership of your text and images. You give us permission to store, resize and display them for the purpose of running Coach-Grid, and to show a preview when someone shares your profile. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies already in backups, which expire on their own schedule.

You are responsible for having the right to publish what you upload. Do not post:

• anything untrue about your qualifications, licenses or experience;
• someone else's photographs, text or logos without permission;
• another person's contact details without their agreement;
• content that harasses, threatens or demeans anyone;
• anything sexual involving a minor — this is reported, not merely deleted;
• malware, scraping tools, or automated bulk requests.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close the account behind it. For anything short of a safety issue we will tell you why and give you a chance to reply.

Ratings and reviews

A rating must describe your own experience with that coach. You can rate a coach you have contacted through Coach-Grid. Do not rate yourself, do not arrange ratings, and do not offer anything in exchange for one.

A coach can reply to any review and can report one, but cannot remove it. A reported review stays visible while we look at it. We remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or plainly not from a client — and we do not remove a review because it is critical. Every removal is recorded with its reason.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up, but we do not promise it. Maintenance, failures and things outside our control happen. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, yourself, at the bottom of your account page. It takes effect immediately and we do not ask why. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and immediately if there is a risk to a minor. Deletion removes your profiles and their images from the site; see the Privacy Policy for how long copies remain in backups.

Liability

Coach-Grid is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what a coach, organizer or other user does or fails to do, for training that does not meet your expectations, or for injury during training arranged through this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of United States , without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Coach-Grid afterwards means you accept the new version.
